George (G.J.) Wilson - Jonesboro

George (G.J.) Wilson, 75, of Jonesboro died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Northeast Arkansas Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Dixie, he had lived at Jonesboro for 13 years, formerly of Hanover Park, Ill. He was retired from St. Charles Manufacturing.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Wilson of the home; a sister, Jewelldean Adams of Jonesboro; two brothers, Carl Wilson of Harrisburg and E.L. Wilson of Jonesboro; a son, Bobby Taylor, of Torrance, Calif.; four daughters, Paula Wilson of the home, Sharon Luff of Jonesboro, Karen Tucker of Caraway, and Donna Taylor of East Dundee, Ill.; and grandchildren, Jack Tucker II and Kevin Tucker, both of Caraway, Ken Luff II and Kristen Johnson, both of Jonesboro, and Jeremy Tucker of Leachville; and four great-grandchildren, Haley Luff of Bono, Brittany Tucker, Bradley Tucker and Bethany Tucker, all of Caraway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Mae Wilson.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Caraway Cemetery with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Grandsons and brother-in-law, Jack Tucker II, Ken Luff II, Jeremy Tucker, Kevin Tucker, Michael Johnson, Bill Mayerhofer.

Honorary pallbearers were Claudis Adams, Benny McCann, Oscar Kee, Lynn Haag, Jimmy Bratten, Hershel Whitlow.
