Kathleen Moore - Jonesboro

Kathleen Moore, 68, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City.

Born in Lepanto, she had lived in Howell, Mich., before moving to Jonesboro 41 years ago. She was a housekeeper and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, James Moore of Jonesboro; four daughters, Ann McPherson of Searcy, Sue Harder of Pensacola, Fla., Brenda Anderson of Jonesboro and Mary Moore of Edmonds, Wash.; four sisters, Thelma Simpson and Augustine Winn, both of Bangor, Mich., Velma Smith of Caraway and Faydeen Manley of Trumann; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Moore; her parents, Robert and Sylvia Acklin; two brothers a a sister.

The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro with Rev. Bud Stall and Rev. David Strait officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Michael Anderson, Seth Anderson, Ben Kummer, Randy McPherson, Jon Moore and Ronnie Neely.

Honorary pallbearers were Ryker Robinson and Charles McDaniels.
