Emma Greenway - Blytheville

Emma Greenway, 97, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born Aug. 17, 1907, in East Prairie, Mo., to Charles Albert Marshall and Eva Belle Warthan Marshall, she was a lifelong area resident, a retired teacher at Dell Elementary School and a member of Dell Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Russell M. Greenway of Dell; two grandchildren, Mark Greenway of Gosnell and Amanda Beckett of Oxford, Miss.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Greenway, seven brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville was in charge of arrangements.
