Annie Louise Duncan - Monette

Annie Louise Duncan, 74, of Monette, died Dec. 17, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and born in Tupelo, Miss., on April 7, 1930. She had lived in the Monette and Black Oak area a lifetime.

She is survived by three sons, Almer Duncan of Monette, Dennis Duncan of Arlington, Texas, and Andy Duncan of Willow Springs, Mo.; four daughters, LaNell Gutner of Covenington, Ga., Patsy Banks of Monroe, Ga., Cathy Lindsey of Albarabo, Texas, and Debbie Medlock of Joshua, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, King and Mildred Wiley and her husband, A.J. Duncan, and a sister, and two brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gregg Funeral Hoem Chapel in Monette with Larry Woodward officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Active pallbearers were Carl Liles, Bill Liles, Mike Smith, Cliff Gatewood, Michael brown, Brett Sipes, and Casey Sipes. Honorary pallbearers were Don Staggs.
