Wanda Sue White - Imboden

Wanda Sue White, 91, of Imboden, formerly of Manila, died Monday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. Born at Leachville she was the daughter of the late S.J. and Mary Ann Martin Matthews and had lived most of her life in the Manila and Leachville area. She was a graduate of Leachville High school, attended Arkansas State University and was a retired school teacher. Mrs. White was a longtime member of the Manila First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Paul White, of Imboden; two sons, Jackie White of Imboden, and Joey White of Arlington, Texas; two granddaughters, Charlotte white and Rebekah White, both of Arlington, Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Paul White, a sister, Woodrow Burton, and a brother, James C. Matthews.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Manila with Rev. Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial was in the Monette cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
