Larry Rourke Barrett - Caraway

"Larry" Rourke Barrett, 81, of Caraway died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at her residence. Born in Owosso, Mich., she had lived in Blytheville for most of her life, was a retired secretary for Columbia Ribbon and Carbon Co. and a member of First United Methodist Church of Caraway.

Survivors include a son, Richard E. "Rick" Barrett of Caraway; a sister, Donna Turner of Durand, Mich.; four grandchildren, Weston Scrape III, Terrence Lee Scrape, Ashley Jean Jackson and Richard Gann Barrett; two step-grandchildren, Chris Lomas Johnson and Jeremy Johnson, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Barrett; a daughter, Colleen Barrett Scrape; and her parents.

A graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery at Blytheville. Burial was under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home.
