Arthur C. Cambron - Lake City

Arthur C. Cambron, 81, of Lake City died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Lake City, he was a retired truck driver and worked for Delta Farms. He was a member of Bowman Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gretha Mize Cambron of the home; five sons, Nathan Lee Cambron and Jerry Dale Cambron, both of the home, Arthur E. Cambron of Lake City, Walter Lynn Cambron of Jonesboro and Mark Wayne Cambron of Paragould; four daughters, Joni Barker and Bonnie Sue Butler, both of Lake City, Patty Ridenhour of Waldron and Nellie Kay Byard of Mississippi; 17 grandchildren adn 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death of his parents, Henry and Annie Foust Cambron, and two grandsons.

Services were 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel in Jonesboro, with Glen Hurst officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery.

Active pallbearers included Mitchell Coleman, Robert Barker, Bennie Butler, Brian Jones, Brandon Jones and William Tompkins.

Honorary pallbearers were Bengi Wright, Bill Wilcox and Dallas Davis.
