Bobby Wayne Sneed - Brookland

Bobby Wayne Sneed, 62, of Brookland, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born in Caraway and lived in Jonesboro before moving to Brookland seven years ago. He had previously worked as a supervisor for Crowley's Ridge Development Council, was of the Methodist belief.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sneed, of the home; a daughter, Robbie Sneed, of the home; a son, Terry Sneed, of Jonesboro; two sisters, Inez Long of Jonesboro and Carolyn Lamb of Jonesboro, a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Cora Easley Sneed, two brothers, William Arthur (Junior) Sneed and Mack Sneed, and two sisters, Willie Bryant and Deolis Penter.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland with Ken Roden officiating. Burial was under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
