Glenda Floris McWilliams Spikes, 64, died Friday, June 25, 2004 at her home in Cumming, Ga.

Born in Manila, she was a graduate of Manila High School and had attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She was a retired medical secretary office manager in Memphis. A member of Germantown Baptist Church in Germantown, Tenn., she was a sports enthusiast and was an all around athlete. While at Manila High School, she was an outstanding basketball player and also excelled in tennis and swimming. She was a former Miss Manila of 1958.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Cisne, and stepfather, Bill Cisne, of Conway; a daughter, Gena Ziegler of Cumming, Ga.; a son, Greg Spikes of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Gary McWilliams of Fort Smith, three grand children, which were the love of her life, three stepbrothers and one stepsister.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester McWilliams of Manila; a sister, Wanda Lewis of Morrilton, an infant brother and sister of Manila.

Services were held June 27, 2004, at McDonald & Son Funeral Chapelin Cumming, Ga.
