Inez Mullen - Monette

Inez Mullen, 82, of Monette, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was a homemaker, member of the Monette Assembly of God Church and had lived in Monette a lifetime.

She is survived by two sons, Lester Mullen of Monette and Steve Mullen of Jonesboro; three daughters, Donna Rolland, Gaye Rolland, and Marla Mullen, all of Monette; two sisters, Shirley Bronaugh and Suda Reeves, both of Monette; two brothers, Larry Simpson of Indiana and Paul K. Simpson of Florida; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Mullen, and a daughter, Brenda Mullen Wood, a grandson, Kenny Mullen, two sisters and three brothers.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Terry Miller officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Mark Rolland, Justin Rolland, Jered Rolland, Kevin Mullen, Michael Collins and Keith Mullen.

Honorary pallbearers were Faith Rolland, Tina Matheny, Andrea Wood, Candice Robinette, Tara Walker, Metsy Evans, Sonia Baldridge, Chris Rolland, Matt Rolland, Ryan Baldridge, James Hughes, Danny Hughes and Tommy Wood.
