Carolyn Rose Pannell Mitchell - Paragould

Carolyn Rose Pannell Mitchell, 62, of Paragould, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at her home. She was born Jan. 25, 1941, in Marion County. She was a graduate of Leachville High School and attended Arkansas State University. She was co-owner of Pannell Ford Mercury and formerly taught at Oak Grove Elementary school. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould and a Phi Mu Fraternity Alumni.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Bennie E. Mitchell of Paragould; a son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kim Mitchell of Paragould; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Gary Frankowski of Little Rock; six grandchildren, Lindsey Kay Mitchell, David Michael Mitchell, Landon Matthew Mitchell, Sara Rose Frankowski,Ryan Paul Frankowski, and Adam Mack Frankowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Rose and Doy M. Pannell.

The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Paragould with Rev. Scott Neathary and Dr. Charles F. DeVane, Jr. officiating. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould. Heath Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were James Vance, Alvin Arnold, J.C. Ussery, Keith Crook, Todd Rutledge and Gaylon Rogers.
