Victor Lee Endicott - Manila

Victor Lee Endicott, 35, of Manila, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, in a motorcycle accident on Route "U" near Hayti. Born at St. Charles, Ill., he had been a Manila resident for the past two years and was employed by Nucor-Yamato Steel Plant in Armorel. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church at Wickliffe, Ky.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Hargrove Endicott, of the home; two daughters, Rikki Lynn Endicott, age 11, of the home, and Heather Gail Endicott, age 8, of the home; his mother and step-father, Roberta Bates McHargue, and husband Jim, of Johnston City, Ill.; two step-brothers, Dale McHargue with the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Germany and Paul McHargue of Herrin, Ill.; a sister and brother-in-law, Shellie and Howie Hodson of Johnston City, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vic Endicott and his grandparents, Robert and Opal Bates.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Ray Dill officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Waltersburg Cemetery in Golconda, Ill.

The family will receive visitors this evening (Tuesday) from 6-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
