Patricia "Pat" Murphy

Patricia "Pat" Murphy, 56 of Manila, died Sunday, June 8, 2003, at her home. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the latee Wilburn Ramsey and has been a life-long Manila resident. She is a graduate of Manila High School and was retired from Federal Mogal Company, formerly E.I.S. in Manila. She ws a longtime member of the Community Methodist Church near Manila where she was active with the youth department.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Murphy of Manila; two daughters Tabatha Hampton, of Texarkana and Candy McMinn of Manila: her mother, Mildred Bennett Ramsey; a brother, Rickey Ramsey of Walker, La.; two sisters, Jean Birmingham of Manila and Sheiron Bearden of Burdette, and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Craig Russell and Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors tonight (Tuesday) from 6-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
