Kenneth Ray Thompson - Manila

Kenneth Ray Thompson, 51, of Manila, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at his home. Born Sept. 10, 1951, in Memphis, Tenn., he had been a farmer and was a member of Soul's Harbor Trinity Church in Manila.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Miles Thompson, of Manila; a son, Kenny Thompson, of Decatur, Ala.; a daughter, Kay McDale, of Manila; two sisters, Mayria Cardoza, of Leesburg, Fla., and Barbara Sharp, of Albertville, Ala.; four brothers, R.W. Thompson and Jack Thompson, both of Dell, Rex Thompson of Albertville, and Finis Thompson of Enterprise, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Thompson and Heddie Booker Thompson.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Sister Glenda Johnson and Brother David Fair officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
