Mary Edna Malone - Jonesboro

Mary Edna Malone, 87, of Jonesboro, formerly of Lake City, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Lester.

Survivors include two sons, Al Malone of Jonesboro and Ray Malone of Little Rock; two sisters, Rossie Long and Nannie Sue Lang, both of Guntersville, Ala.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Malone, a sister, and three brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Emerson Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with G.W. Endicott officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Roosevelt Spencer, Victor Spencer, Guy Spencer, Amos Spencer, T.S. Spencer and Sam Spencer.
