Ruby A. Graddy - Michigan

Ruby A. Graddy, 69, of Grand Ledge, Mich. died Sept. 17, 2002, at her residence.

She was formerly of Black Oak. She was a homemaker and a member of the Black Oak Assembly of God Church. She lived in Grand Ledge for five years. She was born Sept. 12, 1933, in Savannah, Tenn., the daughter of Clarence and Ida (Franks) Doyle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Graddy, in 1996.

She is survived by her mother, Ida Easterly of Searcy; her mother-in-law, Nola Golden of Lake City; seven sisters, Louise Wadley, Janet Sutton, Doris Yates and Mary Kinder, all of Searcy, Shirley Freeman of Texas, Judy Harper of Bremen, Ind. and Linda Benson of Jonesboro; two brothers, Joe Doyle of Texas and Pete Doyle of Florida; three sons, Billy Graddy, Jr. of Harrisburg, Olden Graddy of Black Oak and Michael Graddy of Monette; two daughters, Doris Bayman and Tina Wagner, both of Grand Ledge, Mich.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Billy Moore officiated the ceremony. Place of burial was at the Monette Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.

Active pallbearers were Jason Sutton, Keith Weaver, Charles Benson, Robert Brock, Greg Graddy and Terry Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Derek Graddy and Shane Graddy.

Memorials may be made to the Black Oak Assembly of God Church or the hospice of the donor's choice.
