Vernon Lemmie Brooks - Doniphan, Mo.

Vernon Lemmie Brooks, 77, of Doniphan, Mo., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at the Hornersville Baptist Church in Hornersville. Rev. David Powell and Rev. Doug Clinton will officiate. Burial will be in the Horner Cemetery.

Brooks died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m., this evening (Tuesday), at the McDaniel Chapel in Hornersville. McDaniel Funeral Home of Hornersville is in charge of arrangements.
