Frances C. Coleman, 82, of Monette, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at her residence. Born in Rector, she had lived in Trumann before moving to Monette 40 years ago. She and her husband retired as owners and operators of the Western Auto Store in Monette. She had been an organist for Black Oak United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church in Trumann and was a member of the Monette United Methodist Church.

She has no immediate survivors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vondus Coleman, and her parents, Claude and Estella Crews Copeland.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. The Rev. Sam Long officiated. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
