Bonnie Sue LaRue - Jonesboro

Bonnie Sue LaRue, 70, of Jonesboro died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at her home. Born at Monette, she was formerly of Blytheville where she worked as a sales clerk and office staff person for Montgomery Ward and J.C. Penney. She was a member of the Wood Street Assembly of God in Jonesboro.

Survivors include her husband, Richard LaRue of the home; a daughter, Pat LaRue of Athens, Texas; a son, Ron LaRue of Cleburne, Texas; three sisters, Glenda Cleghorn of Jonesboro, Labelva Ammons of Knoxville, Tenn., and Robbie McClelland of Monette; two brothers, Ruben McClelland of Jonesboro and Wayland McClelland of Monette; five grandchildren, Lisa McMahon, Lori Brooks, Chris LaRue, Kate LaRue and Ryan LaRue; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Donia Davidson McClelland, and a brother.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Emerson Memorial Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Revs. Joel Clark and Billy Moore officiating. Burial was in the Macey Cemetery north of Monette.

Pallbearers were Jerry Davidson, Butch Davidson, Steve McClelland, Barry Cleghorn, Joe Brooks and Dan McMahon.
