Roberta Thelma Ervin - Caraway

Roberta Thelma Ervin, 73, of Caraway died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was retired from American Glass Company and had lived in the Caraway area most of her life. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Caraway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Pearl Wood, and six brothers, Ray, Clifford, Hancel, Cecil, Floyd and Jerry Wood.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ervin of the home; a son, Larry Ervin of Caraway; three daughters, Deborah Ervin and Thelma Clay, both of Caraway, and Cathy Whitley of Black Oakk; two brothers, Melvin Wood of Jonesboro and Clyde Wood of Caraway; a sister, Rita Baldridge of Riverside, Calif.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Community of Christ Church with Elder Bruce Primm and Elder Wayne Heidelberg officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
