Ruth Virginia Kain

Ruth Virginia Kain, 61, of Lake City, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Guntersville, Ala., and moved from Jacksonville, Fla., to Lake City in 1973. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God belief.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Jack Kain, Jr., of Lake City and Mike Kain of Paragould; two brothers, Oliver Clifton of Paragould and Hubert Clifton of New Albany, Miss.; two sisters, Martha Timms of Lake City and Linda Reeves of Pomona Park, Fla., three granddaughters, Kristi Kain, Keri Kain, and Monica Kain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Kain, Sr.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City with Rev. Raymond Clark officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery under the direction of the Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City.

Pallbearers were Ricky Timms, Dennis Timms, David Timms, Curt Timms, Mickey Scaggs, and Steve Creel.
