Dona Jo Banton - Marmaduke

Dona Jo Banton, 38, of Marmaduke, died Nov. 17, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was an office manager and of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Banton of Marmaduke; her father, Alton Darty of Carrolls Corner; a son, Brandon Jones of Manila; two daughters, Melissa Garrison of Paragould and Christina Haley of Manila; four sisters, Cathy Moore of Gosnell, Barbara Yancey of Osceola, Alyalee Long of Keiser, and Phyllis Towery of Carrolls Corner; a brother, Alton Darty, Jr., of Osceola; and three grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Huey Meherg officiating. Burial was in Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
