Francis A. Lewis - Brookland

Francis Aline Lewis, 62, of Brookland died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, in Jonesboro. Born in Lake City, Lewis had lived at Brookland for 25 years. She retired from Craighead Electric and was a special events staff employee of the Arkansas State University Convocation Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Tracey Carvell of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Lisa Bennett of Trumann; her parents, Daisy and Jim Allen of Brookland; a sister, Lou Kambanis of Brookland; five brothers, Boe Allen of Paragould, Bob Allen, Earl Allen and James Allen, all of Brookland, and Steve Allen of Monette; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were 10 a.m. Thursday at Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Larry Ring officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.
