Elsie M. Collins - Jonesboro

Elsie Melvina Collins, 82, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. Born in Monette, she was a homemaker and member of Bethel Faith Tabernacle.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd Eugene Collins of Jonesboro and Jerry Collins of Brookland; four daughters, Lois Carter, Betty Spencer and Ruby Clayton, all of Jonesboro, and Frances Shultz of Michigan City, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Collins, a son and a daughter.

Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Allen and Rev. Sonny Allen officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.

Pallbearers were Stoney Clayton, Carl Adams, Jason Marsh, Wayne McGill, Bodey Hanley, Aaron Allen and Artis Roush.
