Deloris Ford - Paragould

Deloris Ford, 74, of Paragould, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Dexter, she was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh and Mueller Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Bateman of Melbourne, Fla., and Tim Ford of Manila; two brothers, Hoyt McConnell of Paragould and Mack McConnell of Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Evelyn Askew of Atlanta and Patsy Brush of Owoso, Mich.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris B. Ford, and a brother, Nolan McConnell.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Heath Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel in Paragould with Michael Cox and Larry McFadden officiating. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould.

Pallbearers were Greg Walker, Harold Hurt, Jesse Sims, Scotty Brummett, Burl Lamb and Ralph Eaker.
