Lacy Emmett Foresythe - Paragould

Lacy Emmett Foresythe, 77, of Paragould died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. A native of Hornersville, he was a retired fence builder and livestock producer. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Foresythe of Paragould; a son, Joe Foresythe of Paragould; two daughters, Brenda Russell of Paragould and Cissy Jones of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Nora Fears of Senath and Pat Rauls of Caruth; six grandchildren and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and a grandson.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Sam Stewart and Marion Gramling officiating. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Bob Foresythe, Kenny Foresythe, Jonathan Foresythe, Gary Lee Foresythe, Anthony Williams and Larry Jones.
