Litty Mae Hatley - Manila

Litty Mae Hatley, 78, of Manila, widow of Lawrence Edward Hatley, died Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at her home. Born in Keiser the daughter of Brooks and Mary Frances Dillard Gray, she was a lifelong area resident, a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Billy Hatley and Bobby Hatley, a daughter, Catherine Hatley, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include four daughters, Frances Burke and Irene Lopez, both of Chicago, Evelyn Smith of Tinley Park, Ill., and Joann Hatley of Manila; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Cobb Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John Henson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
