Joe Wayne Miller - Leachville

Joe Wayne Miller, 72, of Leachville, died Monday, July 2, 2001, at his home. Born in the Boynton Community near Leachville, he was the son of the late Mary Potter Seymore and was a lifelong Leachville resident. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Marmalee Richardson Miller of Leachville; two sons, Joe Lee Miller of Little Rock and Barry Miller of Blytheville; a daughter, Patsy Ann Clark of Jackson, Tenn.; his father, Claude Miller of Leachville; three brothers, Gene Miller of Coloma, Mich., Bonnie Miller and Jackie Miller, both of Leachville; a sister, Tina Lou McConnell of Hartford, Mich.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Miller.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Howard Funeral Service chapel in Leachville with Rev. Clarence Cornish officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
