Amy H. Polston - Lake City

Amy H. Polston, 92, of Lake City, died Saturday, May 5, 2001, at the Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. Born in Lawrence County, she was a homemaker and member of the Assembly of God in Lake City. She also was a member of the Christian Women's Association and was a Youth Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include two sons, Morris V. Polston of Powhatan and Billy V. Polston of Elkhart, Ind.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Van Gilbert officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery at Saffell.

Active pallbearers were David Polston, Mark Polston, Brian Polston, Keith Polston and Jim Robert.
