Jean Bridger Kappelman - Jonesboro

Jean Bridger Kappelman, 84, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. Born at Deerwood, Minn., she was a lifetime resident of the Jonesboro area. She was a homemaker and member of the Nettleton Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Don Bridger of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, James O. Bridger and Cleo Kappelman, and a stepson and stepdaughter.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Jerry Thompson officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
