Lonnie Lee Jones - West Memphis

Lonnie Lee Jones, 40, of West Memphis, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at his home. Born at Kennett, he had been a resident of West Memphis for the past 14 years. He was a graduate of Southland High School and received his R.N. nursing degree from Mississippi County Community College in Blytheville. He was a member of the Silverdale Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Lonnie Gene and Grace Jones of Black Oak; his mother and stepfather, Rose and Don Dewitt of Earle; two brothers, Brad Jones of Ravenden and A.D. McDaniel of West Memphis; four sisters, Glenda Henson, Kristie Evans, Conseaula Martin, all of Wynne, and Clydean Hardy of Memphis.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Howard Funeral Service Chapel at Leachville with Dewayne Jones officiating. Burial was in the Silverdale Cemetery.
