Robert Lewis Davison, 78, of Manila, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, he was the son of the late Albert and Modene Fowler Davison, had lived most of his life in Manila and was a retired welder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy McCain Davison, a brother, Lemoin Davison, and a sister, Grace Bunch.

Survivors include one son, Chris Davison and his wife, Mary Ann of Manila; one stepson, Johnny McCain of Manila; one daughter, Linda Davison of Atoka, Tenn.; three brothers, Sam Davison of Broken Arrow, Okla., Larry Davison and Carroll Davison, both of Blytheville; four sisters, Linda Scott of St. Ann, Mo., Marie Pitts Ray of Piggott, Vela Williams of Cardwell, Mo., and Sue Garrett of Troy, Mo. He also leaves four grandchildren, Loran Nicole Davison, Daxton Davison, Jackie Forsyth, and Kimberly Rogers, and one great-granddaughter, Burkley Rose Rogers.

Funeral service were 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Collin Jones officiating. Burial followed in Manila Cemetery. The family received visitors from noon until service time at the funeral home.
