Truman Coleman Jackson, 75, of Lake City, former longtime Black Oak resident, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Lakeside Nursing Center. Born at Caraway, he was the son of the late Thomas and Dollie Carter Jackson and had been a resident of the nursing home for the past 20 years. Truman was a blessing to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Lakeside Nursing center for the love and care shown to Truman over the years.

Truman is survived by his extended family and friends in the Black Oak and Lake City areas.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Chub Qualls officiating. Burial followed at 2 p.m. at the Coffeyville Cemetery near Bradford. The family received visitors Monday morning from 10 a.m. until service time.
