Bobby Richard Misner, 70, of Manila, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at his home. Born at Franklin, Mo., he was the son of the late Marion Richard and Ester Briggs Misner. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired postmaster having served in Obion, Tenn., Newbern, Tenn., and Ripley, Tenn., before making his home in Manila in 2003.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mollie Ann Misner.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Hamilton Misner of the home; a son, Scott Misner of Manila; two daughters, Lori Blaylock of Yorktown, Vir., and Molly Misner of Leachville; four brothers, Tommy Misner of Monterey, Tenn., Ray Misner of Manila, Billy Misner of Dayton, Ohio, and Wayne Misner of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Nancy Todd of Monterey, Tenn. He also leaves five grandchildren, Kyle, Kelce, Brody, Maesyn and Max, and two great-grand-children, Maddox and Miraye.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy and Rev. Jarred Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Ford, J.P. Baugher, Bobby Shipley, Mark Misner, Troy Misner, and Terry Pearson. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
