Delois Zettie Lambert

Delois Zettie Lambert, 100, of Manila, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at Manila Nursing Center. Born Feb. 20, 1912 in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Benton and Katey Henry Pasley and was a longtime area resident. Mrs. Lambert was a longtime member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church in Manila. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and doing yard work.

She is survived by one son, Epter Lambert, and wife Ann of Leachville; two daughters, Ruby J. Uhles of Jackson, Mo., and Lucille Lancaster and husband Billy of Paragould; one half brother, Henry Pasley of Manila; eight grandchildren, Ed, Charles and Willis Lambert, Anna Mincey, Denny and Tam Uhles, Debbie Tanaca and Rodney Lancaster and wife Jackie. Mrs. Lambert also leaves several great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Lambert, four brothers, Clarence, Lowell, James and Luther Pasley; two sisters, Lula Rushing and Ruthie Baswell; and one grandson, Randy Lancaster.

Graveside funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Manila Cemetery in Manila, with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Faith Funeral Service on Manila was in charge of arrangements.
