Clifton Earl McMinn, 5/20/42 - 1/12/12 aged 69, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Manila, Ark., passed away on Jan. 12, 2012.

Proceeded in death by his parents, Thurmand and Wonnie McMinn and brothers Jimmy (Laura) and Brian. He leaves behind, Dorothy, wife of 37 years, son Kenny (Kelli) McMinn of Olive Branch, Miss.; daughter Marilyn Denice McMinn of Paragould, Ark.; son Sam (Jamie) McMinn of Batesville, Ark.; step-children Susan Radcliff, John (Stephanie) Radcliff and Connie Langston; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers Vernon McMinn of Manila, Ark.; sisters Carolyn Hall of Manila, Ark., and Judy (Ronnie) Lewis of Rogers, Ark.; numerous nephews and nieces.

Cliff was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan, hunter and outdoorsman. He had traveled extensively throughout the United States and Caribbean. He loved history and in particular the Civil War era and was well versed in that field. He was a great story teller with emphasis on stories. He will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Manila, Ark., at 3:00-5:00 on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012.
