Dilmas "Tom" Thomas Mosbey

Dilmas Thomas "Tom" Mosbey, 67, of Mountain Home passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.

He was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Manila, to Dilmas Louis and Nellie Juanita Huskey Mosbey. He resided in Jonesboro from 1972 until 2001. In 2001 he moved to Mountain Home where he married Viola McWilliams on June 2, 2002. A U.S. Army veteran, he was of a Christian belief and is now a member of Our heavenly Father's home. Tom's pleasure in life was living in the Ozarks and watching the sunset on Norfork Lake. He enjoyed watching the Cardinals beat the Cubs and Dale and Mark racing in the Nascar.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Viola McWilliams Mosbey; devoted and loving son and daughter-in-law Shan and Deedra Mosbey of Jonesboro; loving step-children, Mike McWilliams of Mountain Home, and Michele McWilliams of Mountain Home; loving grandchildren, Shannon Reece (granddaughter) of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Brandon Reece (grandson) of Jonesboro, Dale Hoisington (grandson) of Mountain Home, Taylor Mosbey (precious granddaughter), and Baley Mosbey (precious granddaughter), both of Jonesboro, one great-granddaughter, two loving sisters and brothers-in-law, Gladys (Frank) Kirby of Manila, and Teresa (Ed) Mikell of Meridian, Miss.; four nephews, two grand-nieces and two grand-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dilmas Louis and Nellie Juanita Mosbey; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Morgan; a sister, Dorlas Yvonne Mosbey, and his first wife, Norma Mosbey Frith.

The family received friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of the Ozarks.
