Ruby Jewell Taylor Wells

Ruby Jewell Taylor Wells, 76, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born April 19, 1934, in Paris, Ark.

She was the widow of Virgil Wells, disabled and a member of the Assembly of God faith. She was the daughter of the late Houston Abraham Taylor and Mary Missouri Nellums Taylor.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wells of Monticello and Dale Wells of Monette; a daughter, Gail Wells Patten of El Dorado; two sisters, Annie Hall of Paris and Imogene Bingamen of Ft. Smith; seven grandchildren, Mandy Booth, Drew Wells, Kathryn Morphis, Christopher Patten, Nikki Wells, Heather Stanley and Zac Wells; five great-grandchildren, Rayleigh Booth, Kendall Graham, Jaxen Morphis, Kyla Morphis and Kwynne Morphis.

The funeral was held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Mickey Roachell officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
