Steven Curren Webb, 56, of Morehouse, Mo., died April 15, 2009 at his home after an extensive battle with lung cancer. Mr. Webb was born Jan. 8, 1953 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Jearl Webb and the late Sylvia (Jones) Webb. Mr. Webb was a resident of Morehouse, Mo., since 1982 and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a Marine veteran, truck driver for Merrick Trucking and siding installer for R&R Construction Sikeston, Mo., for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, the Hon. Angela Webb of Morehouse, Mo.; two sons, Steven J. Webb of Morehouse and Matthew Webb and wife Priscilla of Sikeston; a daughter, Stephanie Wurtz of Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Beverly Bond and husband Larry of Foristell, Mo., Cindey Hazer and husband Ray of Winfield, Mo., Arlene Holman and husband Elliott of St. Charles, Mo., Tammey Jennings and husband Larry of Wasco, Calif.; four granddaughters and a host of family and friends.

Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, James Webb.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, at Christian Tabernacle in Sikeston with the Rev. E.J. McDougall officiating. Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
