Bobby Ray Brumley

Bobby Ray Brumley, 53, of Manila, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Mr. Brumley was born May 26, 1955, in Osceola to Allie Jacob Brumley and Imogene Wilbanks Brumley. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God at Holland, Mo., where he served as sound technician, builder and driver of Christmas parade floats, and pastor's helper. He was employed by PCI as an insulator in commercial construction.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Hope Miles Brumley, of Manila; two sons, Bobby Brumley, Jr. of Iuka, Miss., and Brandon Dollar of Etowah; three daughters, Cristell Strieter of Proctor, Mandie Stutts of Manila, and Chasity Guthrie of Steele, Mo.; his mother, Imogene Brumley of West Ridge; three brothers, Harold Gene Brumley and Gary Brumley both of Floral, and B.J. Brumley of West Ridge; a sister, June Montgomery of Trumann; and 13 grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Pentecostal Church of God in Holland, Mo. Burial was at Manila Cemetery with Carney funeral Home of Blytheville in charge of arrangements.
