Irda Mae Vore

Irda Mae Vore, 82, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1926, in Marmaduke to the late James and Volina Robinson. She was a homemaker and member of the Leachville First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Loren Vore of the home; three sons, Jerrell "Wayne" Vore and wife Ruth Ann of Jonesboro, James Wilson Vore and wife Mary of Cardwell and Gary Gene Vore of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Michael Wayne Vore and wife Donna, Michelle Renee Bowman and husband Greg, Nicholas James Vore, Chad Edward Vore, Gary Gene Vore Jr., Christopher Vore, Jonathan Vore and Connie Vore; six great-grandchildren, Makayla Richardson, Emily Vore, Jared Vore, Joey Young, Jacob Bowman, Katie Bowman.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Robinson, Walter Robinson, Merle Robinson and Harvey Robinson.

A celebration of her life was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Louie Robinson and Danny Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Chad Vore, Michael Vore, Nicholas Vore, Greg Bowman, D. Robinson and Johnny Hawkins.
