James Kenneth McElroy

James Kenneth McElroy, 82, of Cardwell, Mo., died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at his home. Born at Egypt, Ark., he was the son of the late Eugene and Vinnie Jones McElroy and had been a lifelong Cardwell resident. He was a retired farmer and attended Calvary Full Gospel Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Stanley McElroy; two sisters, Geniva Hathcoat and Fern Forkum; and a stepgrandson.

Survivors include a stepson, Darrell Stanley of North Little Rock; a brother, Floyd McElroy of Monette; two sisters, Beatrice Gulley of Jonesboro and Betty Baldridge of Monette; and a stepgranddaughter.

Graveside funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cardwell Cemetery with Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial was under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
