Mark Allan Estes

Mark Allan Estes, 51, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in White Salmon, Wash. He was born April 12, 1957, at Chillicothe, Ohio. He was an honor graduate of Monette High School and an All-State basketball player for the Monette Buffalos. He attended Henderson State University and the University of Central Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Ila Vinson and Clyde and Agnes Estes.

Survivors include two sons, Noah and Josh Estes, and their mother, Stephanie Kelm, of White Salmon. He is also survived by his parents, Joe and Ann Vinson Estes; a brother, Mike Estes and wife, Bobbie, of Jonesboro; aunts and uncles, Jim and JoAnn Vinson of Jonesboro, John and Frances Estes of Poughkeepsie and Lonnie and Kathy McNatt of North Little Rock; and several cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday evening at Monette Church of Christ with a memorial service following.

The family requests anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
