Jonesboro

Norma Lea Gragg, 72, of Jonesboro died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at her residence. She was born Feb. 10, 1936, at Bunny to the late Bert and Marie Barlow. Mrs. Gragg was a member of South Caraway Baptist Church and a homemaker. Being the wife of a minister, she was active in many churches through the years.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Rev. Zane Gragg of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Paula Gragg of Jonesboro and Matthew and Lynn Gragg of Virginia Beach, Vir.; two daughters and son-in-law, April and Charlie Melton of Maynard and Kristy Gragg of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Marcus Gragg Jr., Amanda Gragg, Caleb Gragg, Matt Gragg, all of Jonesboro, Cassie Gragg of Norfolk, Va., Cameron Gragg of Virginia Beach, Brandi Barnett and husband, David, of Pocahontas, and Trent Melton and wife, Ashley, of Maynard; four great-grandchildren, Aliyah Burks, Ragan Burks, Callie Barnett and Ethan Barnett; and three sisters, Mary Tomlinson of Pekin, Ill., Joyce Owens of Monette and Pat Cater of Leachville.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Gilbert.

A celebration of her life was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Monette First Baptist Church with Rev. Zane Gragg officiating. Burial was in Macey Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers.
