Norma Sue Scott, 70, of Manila, died March 11, 2008 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Sept. 26, 1937, in Monette to the late Albert Clarence York and Maude Marie Greene York, Mrs. Scott was a former resident of West Memphis for 15 years, a district manager for Jimmy Dandy Corporation in Nashville, was an avid Razorback and Cardinals fan, loved flowers, especially roses, and was a member of the Manila Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Morris, and wife JoAnn of West Memphis, and Robbie Morris of West Memphis; two daughters, Tina Thorn, and husband Roger of Manila, and Amy Starkey, and husband John of West Memphis; two stepsons, Brad Scott of Jonesboro and Barry Scott of Manila; eight grandchildren, Karl Thorn, Scotty Thorn, Kimberly Lehmann, Micah Morris, Jeniffer Hugg, Josh Langley, Bradley Seacrest, Thomas Morris; five great-grandchildren, Evan Scott Thorn, Alexis Tatum Thorn, Hallie Holt, Brenna Holt, Charlie Lehmann; mother in law, Violet Alexander, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gean Scott; and two grandchildren, Westin Grant Thorn and Emma Kate Thorn.

Services were 10 a.m. Friday at Manila Church of Christ with Bro. Joe Mays and Bro. Mike Chaffin officiating. Burial was at Manila Cemetery. Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Roger Thorn, Karl Thorn, Scotty Thorn, John Starky, Bradley Seacrest, Josh Langley. Honorary pallbearers were Hunter Dodd and Larry Dodd.
