Jessie Taylor, 69, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born Monday, March 7, 1938, in Tippah County, Miss., to the late George Elbert and Carrie Smith Taylor, she was of the Baptist faith and in the food service business.

She is survived by three sons, Billy Joe Thrasher and wife, Pattie, of Justin, Texas, Bruce Thrasher and wife, Kathy, of Forest, Miss., Terry Thrasher and wife, Margie, of Leachville; a daughter, Patricia Wilson and husband, Andy, of Jonesboro; two sisters, Martha England and husband, Cornelius, of Osceola and Gracie Carr of Gulfport, Miss.; two brothers, Vance Taylor of Gulfport, Miss., and Charlie Taylor of El Dorado; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 3-4 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Roller-Swift Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 4 p.m. in Mississippi County memorial Gardens with Brother Jerry Weathers officiating.
