Marked Tree

Tommy Hatley, Sr., 57, of Marked Tree, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at The Med in Memphis, Tenn. He was born May 28, 1950, in Bexar, Ala. He was a truck driver for the City of Marked Tree and of the Pentecostal faith. He is the son of the late William H. Hatley and Daisy Austin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna Hatley.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hatley of Marked Tree; three sons, Tommy Hatley, Jr. and Jeff Hatley, both of Marked Tree, and Chris Hatley of Lepanto; a sister, Barbara Easton of Marked Tree; two brothers, Bobby Hatley of Jonesboro and Charlie Hatley of Marked Tree; and two grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Church of God in Marked Tree with Brother Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial was at Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
