Robert E. Lee (Bob) Holliman, 64, of Marshall, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at Manila Nursing Center. Born Jan. 12, 1943 in Quitman to the late Lubie Frank Holliman and Jennie Margarette Holliman, he had worked in rock gathering, factory manufacturing and was a long time area resident of the Marshall community.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Deen of Marshall and Charles (Will) Deen of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Lisa Deen of Mayo, Fla.; two brothers, Lubie Lee Holliman of Marshall and Donald Holliman of Russellville; three sisters, Jessie Doren of Grand Rapids, Mich., Sue Pendergrass of Rivervale and Norma Spears of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leon Holliman, and two sisters, Jennie Vee Massey and Mary Holliman.

Graveside services were Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery at Quitman with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Shane Massey, Steven Massey, Joe Massey, Frank Massey, Ronnie Effinger and Harvey Milton.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Pendergrass, Bill Pendergrass and Mark Shasteen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions for the funeral expense.
