Woodrow Mason, 58, of Manila died June 10, 2007, at his residence. He was born Jan. 25, 1949, at Etowah. He was a farmer, and of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Mason and Sarah Jackson; a sister, Linda Mason; and two brothers, Roy Lee Mason and Michael Wayne Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Mason of Manila; three daughters, Donna Sharp of Paragould and Tammy Maxwell and Amanda Mason, both of Manila; two sons, Woodrow Mason, Jr., of Caraway and Jerry Lynn Pentecost of Manila; four sisters, Joann Ward, June Ward, Rosie Deharven, all of Manila, and Dora Merritt of Shreveport, La.; a brother, Gerald Mason of Caraway; and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Huey Meherg officiating. Burial was at the Manila Cemetery.
