Freddie Lee Ledford, 75, of Manila, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born at Hico, Texas, he was the son of the late H.K. and Estatina Richey Ledford and had lived in Manila since 1991. Blind since the age of three months, Mr. Ledford became an accomplished musician and enjoyed teaching piano and guitar and playing in his own country music band.

He is survived by two brothers, Buddy Ledford of Manila, and Clinton C. Ledford of Slidell, La.; and a sister, Naomi Baillo of Covington, La.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Manila Cemetery with Rev. Burl Lloyd officiating. Burial was under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
